pets.
Yes, considering this is a relatively realistic RPG, you are allowed to ‘own’ a pet. However, there are a few things to consider when applying for one, or more:
- The animals that are allowed here as pets are: dogs, cats, birds (that can be domesticated), small reptiles, and small mammals.
- The animals that are not allowed here as pets are: wild animals (wolves, big cats etc.), large reptiles, horses (for now).
- Your dog cannot be mixed with wolf, and your cat cannot be mixed with a tiger. Any application for an animal that is part wild creature will not be accepted.
- Given we don’t want several hundred abandoned animals running around the city, I will say that there is to be a limit on the number of animals you can have. This is mainly decided upon the income your character brings in, and the hours they work, so the ‘limit’ will vary from character to character. To give you a rough guide, however, I will say that [in one household], your character(s) can have:
- One big dog
- Two smaller dogs
- Three cats
- One/two reptiles (given their size)
- One bird.
Please note that, for example, if your character were to have two dogs, they cannot then apply for another animal on top of those they already have.
- Pets cannot
verbally communicate with their owners. In real life, dogs and cats cannot speak English, and we can’t speak animal. Your character can read their pet’s body language to sort of understand how he/she is feeling, and your animal may have small amount of empathy for their owner, but they cannot converse with them.- The animals that are allowed here as pets are: dogs, cats, birds (that can be domesticated), small reptiles, and small mammals.

- This is a human RPG; not dog, cat, or whatever. Your character’s pet cannot be roleplayed separate from their owner, nor can they ’communicate’ like any other animal RPG you may have seen. They can interact - even have young - but they are merely addons to your character - thus they cannot act independently from them.
- If your pet happens to mate with another character’s, and wow, they have pups/kits, you may place an ad asking if anyone would like to adopt of them (for free or for a small sum of money, whatever floats your boat). Please keep in mind that your character can keep one or more of the litter, making sure to not go over the limit.
Well! Now that the formalities are out of the way, onto the form![/blockquote]
Character Name: [Duh, your character name, silly.]
Pet Wanted: [The type of pet wanted e.g - dog, cat etc. along with the breed eg - German Shepherd]
Will your character be able to take full responsibility of this animal?: […Pretty self explanatory.]
PM a filled out version of this to the HEAD Admin (after taking all the ’helpful’ text out of it first >D) to apply for a pet. Once accepted, an admin will modify your finished character application to include the new information.
